Meet Miguel Garcia, aka Michiman

Spanish guitarist born in Valencia, Michi trained at Valencia Conservatory where he studied solfeggio, singing and guitar. A madrilenian stay in his early career allowed him to play and collaborate with artists such as Twanguero, Luis Auserón and Virginia Cambuci, among others.

Life & travels took him to live and study in Ireland, Brazil and France, where he decided to settle a decade ago. Lifelong Brazilian music lover, he has dug Bossa Nova in depth and is now exploring the subtlety of Flamenco guitar, with Maestro Oscar Herrero, while passing on his passion for the string instrument, with classical and electric guitar lessons.

World traveler and polyglot, Michi is fluent in Spanish, French, English & Portuguese. Currently based in the Centre Val de Loire region, France, you can find him performing his solo acts locally, and in the Paris area. He is also involved in other musical projects in duo or with bands along with artists friends.

Besides, Michi teaches guitar and music theory to a wide range of audiences, either in person or remotely.

He is also available for public performances, private events, educational programs or masterclasses. Always willing to learn and/or teach, do not hesitate to reach out to him for any project or collaboration!

You can find him teaching music and guitar at Conservatoire of Mereville (Essonne) and at Espace Libre in Gallardon (Eure-et-Loir)
